If you need to apply for a visa, please follow the steps below.

STEP 1 DETERMINE YOUR VISA TYPE

STEP 2 COMPLETE YOUR VISA APPLICATION E-FORM

  • Complete the VISA APPLICATION : e-FORM
  • Be sure to read the SAMPLE GUIDANCE “HOW TO FILL OUT E-FORM’ Click

All information must be correct and accurate. No empty sections are allowed for the application form.
The completed form should be signed by the applicant after printing it out, and the required documents should be submitted along with the completed Visa application form.

STEP 3 CHECK DOCUMENTATION

  • Be sure to check all the necessary documentation for your visa application.

Applications that are not submitted with all required documents will not be accepted.
Insufficient documentation to support the stated purpose of entry may result in visa refusal.

STEP 4 PAY YOUR VISA FEES

  • Once you have determined the correct visa type and printed filled visa application e-form, you must pay the visa fee and attach your visa fee payment receipt in your visa application documents to the Embassy.

The visa application fee is non-refundable in any circumstance.

STEP 5 SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • You can submit your visa documents to the Embassy in person or by mail following the instruction as below.
  • Drop your visa application off in person at Consular office
    Reservation is required to visit the Consular office. Go to 365 Overseas Korean Portal site and schedule your appointment.

    Visits without a prior reservation may be denied.

  • Postal submissions are permitted only for applicants residing outside of Stockholm, as verified by the current address provided on the application form.
  • Mail your documents to the Consular office using PostNord Package.

STEP 6 VISA PROCESSING TIME

  • Screening procedure of your visa application starts upon the submission to the Consular Section.
  • It takes a period of two weeks to process your visa application.
  • Specific cases may vary due to the rapid increase in visa applications and other special requirements.
  • It may take longer than two weeks if failure to submit the required documents.

STEP 7 APPROVAL & ISSUANCE

  • If your visa is approved, you will be notified via email as soon as the visa/passport is ready to pickup.

The Consular office will not respond to any phone calls/email regarding visa status during the process.

STEP 8 VISA/PASSPORT COLLECTION

  • Collection passport ; Thursday to Friday from 09:30am to 12:00am
    if you are unable to visit at the designated time, Kindly make a reservation
    Visits without a prior reservation may be denied.
  • If someone collect your passport instead, a copy of ID and Power of Attorney is required.
  • For mail-in applications, the passport must be collected in person (No representatives allowed).
